The career of Maurizio
Di Leo, one of the major Italian phytotherapy
experts , set off in 1978 as he was graduated an herbalist
from the faculty of pharmacy of the University of
Urbino.
In 1980 he opened up Erboristeria Di Leo in Casalecchio di
Reno (BO) .
In 1981 he opened up the Laboratorio Erboristico Di Leo.
In 1982 Casalecchio Notizie published Maurizio
Di Leo's first article on natural
medicine.
In the following years Casalecchio Notizie and Il Calabrone (a magazine of natural medicine),
published several other articles of his; nearly 60 articles
appeared in Salute Natura (currently out
of print) from 1989 to 1992; he also wrote many articles for
the Almanac of the Swiss International Red Cross from the late Eighties to the early Nineties .
In 1994 he had his first book published by Rank Xerox. It is an almost complete
collection of all the articles he wrote until 1994; the title
is Nuovi Orizzonti di Fitoterapia (New Phytotherapy
Prospects, 200 pages, A4 format, priced 20 € + 16 €
shipping charges).
In 1997 his second book, Fitoterapia (Phytotherapy), (was published by ed. GB,
Padua, 118 pages, 10 € + 16 € shipping charges)
.
In 2000 he published his third book Tinture madri
spagiriche (Spagyric Mother Tinctures, ed. Arpo,
300 pages, A4 format
30 € + 16 € shipping charges), written in collaboration
with Massimiliano Bisetto.
In 2002 he published his fourth book, Oleoliti spagirici (Spagyric Oleolites, Ed. Arpo,
100 pages, A4 format, 15 € + 16 € shipping charges).
In 1994 Maurizio Di Leo took part into a Euroform project as lecturer appointed by the Province of Ravenna, for the training course targeted at chemists and herbalists on The use of herbs for healing and preventive purposes, Faenza, Istituto professionale di stato per l'agricoltura (state trade school for agriculture).
Maurizio Di Leo was a speaker at the following conventions:

He has been working at his fifth book. It will expectedly
be published in 2 or 3 years.
